Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between the Beginner program and the All Star program?
Our beginner is for individuals with little to no exercise experience, someone who hasn’t worked out in a long time, or is coming back from an injury! We start out slow through our beginner program, going over the fundamentals and we build on those skills each week. We also keep our beginner classes much smaller. We cap our classes at 10 and have 2 coaches available with our groups. Our beginner program works in 8 week cycles and includes weekly check-ins! Beginner specific classes are Mondays and Wednesdays at 6:30pm!
Our All Star program is for individuals with exercise and weight lifting experience. This program is much faster paced and is important to have the fundamentals down when joining this program.
When is the beginner’s third day?
The beginners third day is any of the All Star class days! Many of the beginners often choose a Saturday class to allow for rest in between days. We make sure the beginners are in a group with a coach and we modify exercises as needed.
What type of workouts can I expect?
We do a variety of training, but you can expect a HIIT (high intensity interval training). We offer a wide variety of implements such as kettlebells, dumbbells, barbells, body weight, strongman equipment – tires, kegs, etc. !
What if I don’t know if I am a beginner or All Star?
If you are unsure you can attend the first couple weeks of the beginner classes to see if it’s where you need to start. If you don’t feel this is where you need to start, then you are welcome to move to the All Star classes. The beginners third day of their program is an All Star class – we modify movements as needed and make sure you are with one of our Warrior Body coaches. This can also help to give you an indication of where you might want to start.
If I am a beginner can I come to any class?
Our beginner program runs differently than our All Star. Because we are working on the fundamentals your workout is built out in an 8 week cycle – meaning the workout is already written for the entire 8 weeks that follows a plan for fundamentals. If you are a true beginner we ask that you please attend the 2 beginner specific classes on Mondays and Wednesday’s at 6:30pm so you are receiving the skills needed to build on.
What if I have a limitation or injury coming into the program? Can I still do it?
Yes, depending on what your injury is. We will modify movements as needed and work within your ability, but want to make sure it is an injury that is not keeping you from majority of the movements. Send us an email and let’s schedule a time to sit down and discuss this further!
What if I have to miss a class?
If you have to miss a class then you are able to make it up with one of our All Star classes during the week.
If you are an All Star – you have multiple class times throughout the week that you can mix up the class times to be sure your workouts in!
Can I bring my kids?
Yes! We have a kids room located directly in the workout space – so you are able to keep an eye on them while they are in the room playing! If they do not want to stay in the kids room, then they must stay on the perimeter of the workout space. If it is a child in a stroller, then they must stay on the perimeter in their stroller.
When are classes during the week?
You’re in luck! There is a schedule up in our website, as well as our Facebook page!
Where are you located?
We are located towards the end of Scott Avenue! We are located on the right hand side in a big red warehouse building! We have a big sign up! You will see Taylor Law offices directly above our sign! Other landmarks to keep an eye for is ELF – childcare center and Valley Health! We are just past those businesses on the right hand side!
Can I bring a friend who might want to try the program?
Yes! The first class is $5! After that it is $15! On Saturdays you can bring a friend for FREE if it is their first time!
We ask that we don’t have regular drop-ins for the beginners program because of the set up and format of the program. If an individual is looking to get the full benefit of the beginner program then we ask that they sign-up at the beginner of an 8 week cycle!
